New Mexico collected $1.3 billion in miscellaneous tax revenue during the fourth quarter of 2023, a 12.8% decrease from the same period the previous year when $1.4 billion was reported, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's Quarterly Summary of State and Local Taxes.
Of the 2,109,366 people living in New Mexico in 2021, 50.3% (1,060,918) were women and 49.7% (1,048,448) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by Enchantment State News.
