Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has appointed Crystal Lees as a judge for the Second Judicial District Court, following the retirement of Judge Debra Ramirez.
Crystal Lees has been serving as a domestic relations hearing officer in the same district since 2018, handling cases related to child custody, divorce, and child support. She graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law and was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in 2012.
Lees will officially begin her new role on January 18, 2025.
