SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced on Tuesday the appointment of Heidi Adams as the Tenth Judicial District Attorney. Adams, who has been serving as the Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Tenth Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Tucumcari since 2015, will now step into the role of District Attorney.
Adams, a graduate of Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech School of Law, brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Prior to her role as Chief Deputy District Attorney, she worked as an assistant district attorney at the Potter County Attorney’s Office in Amarillo, Texas.
Adams' appointment, which commenced on April 15, 2024, marks a significant milestone in her legal career as she takes on the responsibilities of leading the Tenth Judicial District Attorney's Office.
