The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) is looking forward to having nominees in 101 races in the upcoming general election.
“Our slate of nominees–from the top of the ticket to the bottom–is diverse, driven and on a mission to win this November,” RPNW Chairman Steve Pearce said in a post on the New Mexico GOP party’s website. “They believe in traditional New Mexico values, fiscal responsibility, jobs and sensible government. The day of Democrat dominance in New Mexico will soon be over.”
The RPNW has nominees in 41 Senate races and 60 House races.
“These nominees will reclaim the spirit of New Mexico,” Pearce said in the post. “Republicans have a strong message and a bold vision for our state.”
The RPNW recently held its primaries with Michelle Garcia Holmes winning the nomination for the First Congressional District and Yvette Herrell winning the nomination for the Second Congressional District. The race for the Third Congressional District was too close to call at the time the RPNW post was published.
