New Mexico has 5 basketball players on the court in this year’s men’s NCAA March Madness tournament

New Mexico Lobos' Dylan Chavez and Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros' Alex Garcia

New Mexico is being represented by five players in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

California will have the most players on the hard court during this year's tournament with 206 players, followed by Texas with 178.

Albuquerque, Santa FE, Pueblo, Rio Rancho and Las Cruces are the hometowns for the players from New Mexico.
