A nationwide online survey conducted by TIPP for the League of American Workers has revealed that Americans support mass deportation by a 15-point margin, with 55% in favor and 40% opposed. The survey, carried out from April 7 to April 9 among 1,570 registered voters, highlights significant backing for Trump's America First policies on immigration and trade.

According to Steve Cortes, founder of the League of American Workers, "American citizens enthusiastically back" these policies. The data indicates strong support among Republicans (+72%) and Independents (+8%). Support increases to 78% when deportation involves migrants with criminal records, including backing from 64% of Kamala Harris voters and 68% of Hispanic citizens.

Cortes also noted that Trump's border policies are yielding results, as illegal border crossings in March reached their lowest level ever recorded for that month. This decline is attributed to new executive orders issued by President Trump aimed at enhancing border security. Pete Flores, Acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), said: "The men and women of U.S. Customs and Border Protection continue to aggressively implement the President’s Executive Orders to secure our borders, and as a result of this leadership, we have achieved historic lows in border apprehensions."

While immigration issues appear to be stabilizing, attention is shifting toward trade policy—another key component of the America First platform. According to Cortes, Americans largely agree that foreign countries have exploited U.S. trade policy for decades; 60% affirm this view while only 29% disagree. China remains a primary concern in trade matters, with 62% of Americans—and up to 74% among seniors—saying the country has economically abused the U.S.

Cortes emphasized: "We can no longer economically surrender to other countries that use predatory trade tactics to abuse and malign American laborers."

The League of American Workers describes itself as an advocacy organization dedicated to representing largely disregarded American workers through factual advocacy.
