The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has announced its endorsement of Yvette Herrell for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District. The NFIB, a prominent small business advocacy organization, highlighted Herrell's track record in supporting small businesses during her previous tenure in Congress.

Jason Espinoza, NFIB New Mexico State Director, praised Herrell as "a proven advocate for small businesses," citing her understanding and consistent leadership on issues affecting this sector. He noted her efforts towards deregulation and permanent tax relief for small businesses. "We know Yvette Herrell will continue these efforts to help small businesses both in New Mexico and across the country, and we are proud to endorse her today," Espinoza stated.

Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also commended Herrell's commitment to pro-small business legislation, emphasizing her perfect voting record with the NFIB during her congressional service. "Her record of supporting pro-small business legislation speaks to her dedication to helping Main Street grow and we are proud to endorse her today," Sussin remarked.

The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, the political action committee funded by voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their regular dues. Decisions by the committee are guided by a grassroots evaluation process driven by its members.
