At a recent City Council meeting, a resolution advocating for a ceasefire in Palestine was removed from the agenda, leading to an outburst from pro-Palestinian protestors. This decision came after many individuals had expressed their views on the matter through emails, attendance, and speeches at the City Council.

The removal of the resolution triggered an eruption of anger among pro-Palestinian protestors who began shouting about genocide and chanting "Viva Palestina." They continued to disrupt the proceedings until they were asked to leave by LCPD.

Despite the disturbance, many attendees remained composed, patiently waiting for their opportunity to express their opinions during public comments. These individuals argued that such a divisive resolution should never have been considered by the City Council in the first place.

Local news outlets covered both the removal of the ceasefire resolution and the subsequent protest.
