Orange Barrel Report For The Week Of November 20, 2022

Ongoing:

G.M. Emulsion:  Will be working on ADA ramps on Don Diego. There will be lane shifts and flaggers in effect. Work will begin 11-14-2022 thru 11-23-2022. Please contact Mark Brooks at 505-955-2404 with any questions.

The Nature Conservancy: The Nature Conservancy’s - Santa Fe Canyon Preserve.  The second phase of an ongoing project, which includes earthwork and fencing will begin on November 16, 2022.  All work will be performed on Nature Conservancy property, but access is via the City Parks Department’s – Cerro Gordo Open Space trailhead parking area.  The second phase of the project will likely require the first full week of December to complete, weather permitting, and will require the periodic delivery of equipment and materials, including soil for the construction of the trail ramp. The preserve will remain open. Deliveries will be timed to avoid periods of heaviest trail use and the construction site will be temporarily fenced. KIMO Constructors: Santa Fe River repairs along the Santa Fe River between Ricardo Rd. and Calle Don Jose. Heavy equipment will be crossing the trail and river channel. Machinery will also be accessing the south bank through Alejandro St. There will be no closures but please expect intermittent disruptions to traffic.  Construction begins 11-06-2022 and is expected to last 10 weeks barring any delays due to weather. Mountain Crane Service: Will be setting up a crane on Don Gaspar Ave on the west side of the State Capital Building. Don Gaspar Ave will be closed at the S. Capital Pl. intersection. Detours and flaggers will be in place. Work is scheduled to begin 11-14-22 thru 11-21-22. Please contact Teddy Padilla at 505-231-4794 with any questions.

A.A.C. Construction: Will be adding a new water main line at the intersection of Pino Rd. and Old Santa Fe Trl. behind Kaune’s Food Store. Flaggers and Lane shifts will be in place along with traffic control and message boards. Work is scheduled to begin 11-08-22 thru 11-21-22. A.A.C Construction: Work will begin 10-24-2022 thru 11-30-2022 on a main replacement for Malaga Lane.  A new tap will be installed in the westbound lane and piping will be installed across Cordova Rd this week. Sparling Construction: Will be installing utilities, widening the road, and building a new roundabout on Beckner Rd. between Walking Rain Rd. and Richards Ave. Beckner Rd. will be closed starting 09-06-22 thru 01-06-23.
