Artesia Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 26.
AND THE WINNER FOR BEST GREEN CHILE ENCHILADAS IN ARTESIA IS……..The Artesia Country Club!!! We had so much fun hosting our 2nd of 4 green chile taste tests! This time we focused on our local restaurant’s meanest greenest enchiladas. Our panel of judges were all “Newbies” Artesia’s New Mayor Elect Jon Henry, new City Councilors Dickie Townley & Wade Nelson, New Head Football Coach & My Better Half Jeremy Maupin and The Artesia Public Library’s new Manager Valerie Martin! Congratulations to all of the amazing restaurants who participated (La Fonda Restaurant, Nina's, Roadrunner Grill, & of course the Artesia Country Club) all the enchiladas truly were delicious! Go out to eat this weekend and enjoy!
