CITY OF ROSWELL: After holidays, Christmas trees can be disposed of at landfill for free

Ct

City of Roswell issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.

Throughout January (Jan. 2-30), the Roswell Municipal Landfill will allow Roswell residents to dispose of Christmas trees at no cost as long as the trees are not mixed with other trash (decorative tinsel may remain on the tree).

The trees must be dropped off at the landfill separately from other trash.  The usual tipping fee charges will apply to any trees that are mixed with other trash.

The landfill is located at 3006 W. Brasher Street.
