The City of Albuquerque announced on June 1 that the Summertime in Old Town concert series will return this weekend for two months of live music and cultural performances at the gazebo, beginning Friday, June 5. The free concerts will feature a variety of genres including flamenco, mariachi, blues, jazz, country, reggae, and New Mexican favorites.

Performances are scheduled for Fridays from 7-9 p.m., Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. with select evening performances from 7-9 p.m., and Sundays from 1-3 p.m. The series also includes expanded programming during featured cultural events throughout the season such as performances connected to the San Felipe de Neri Church fiestas this weekend and Festival Flamenco Albuquerque later in June.

The lineup for 2026 includes local and regional groups such as Mustang Sally & the Corvettes, DB Gomez & the Bosque Boys, Silver Sky Blues Band, Mariachi Tenampa, Felix y Los Gatos, Trio Carrillo, Flambeaux and others. A complete schedule is available online. Summertime in Old Town runs through July 26.

“Summertime in Old Town makes the most of this iconic neighborhood,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “It’s a fun tradition for locals and visitors alike.”

The City of Albuquerque has served as a cultural landmark through venues like the KiMo Theatre—built in 1927—which blends Pueblo Deco architecture with community entertainment spaces fostering artistic expression over decades, according to the theater’s history page. The city operates under a council structure that focuses on establishing goals and preserving its merit system while representing nine geographic districts shaped by historical developments like the railroad, according to its official website and city timeline.
