*Kids Cook: Grades 3-5th, March 21 and 22
9-12pm and 1-4pm
Kids Cook! is a hands-on, culinary and nutrition education program for students that nurtures kids' confidence in the kitchen and beyond. By cooking traditional foods from around the world, students are exposed to a variety of cultures, foods and culinary techniques. Students gain kitchen skills including tool identification and proper use, knife safety and food safety. Come discover, learn and have fun in the kitchen. Bon appetit, it’s time to eat!
Recipes and ingredients may contain nuts, gluten, dairy or eggs.
*Shadow and Light: Grades K-2nd on March 22
9a-12pm and 1-4pm
Discover ways to create shadows as you investigate light by bouncing and bending it. Explore cool shadow shapes, experiment with colored shadows, and make shadow puppets!
