Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Awareness

City of Albuquerque issued the following announcement on April 7.

During Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Albuquerque Police Department wants to recognize survivors who are working through trauma. The survivors are the true heroes in this effort, and we are here for you.

The Albuquerque Police Department is grateful for all of our incredible community and agency partners who support survivors of sexual assault and sexual abuse 24/7. We are working hard to connect survivors to the resources they need and want.  If you are a survivor or another individual affected by sexual violence and need support, please reach out to the Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico hotline at 505-266-7711.

Even in this time of uncertainty, the Albuquerque Police Department is committed to providing the resources and support that survivors of sexual assault need and deserve.
