The City of Santa Fe announced on May 5 that it is seeking community input to help shape the Santa Fe Public Library’s strategic plan for the next three to five years. Residents are invited to participate in a series of engagement sessions scheduled throughout May at various library locations.

The city said that public feedback will play a key role in determining the library’s priorities, program development, and funding allocations over the coming years. The strategic plan aims to provide a framework for advancing long-term goals and improving services offered by the library system.

Community engagement sessions will be held at three branches: La Farge Library on May 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Southside Library on May 16 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Main Library on May 21 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interested participants can register online for any of these sessions or view additional event details through links provided by the city.

For those unable to attend in person, an online Community Input Survey is available until May 21. Additionally, residents interested in youth services are encouraged to complete a separate Youth Services Survey by May 12, focusing specifically on programs for children and teens.

The City of Santa Fe also reminds residents about its range of newsletters covering events, news updates, recreation information, and road construction reports.
