Crews are continuing work to widen the Montgomery Blvd bridge and will begin setting beams over Interstate 25 starting January 27, 2026. The operation is scheduled for two nights and will require significant overnight closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

During these hours, both northbound and southbound lanes of I-25 between the Montgomery Blvd off-ramp and on-ramp will be closed. Traffic on I-25 will be rerouted onto the Pan American Frontage Road at the Montgomery Blvd off-ramps, across Montgomery Blvd, and back onto the freeway via the on-ramps.

In addition, eastbound and westbound Montgomery Blvd will be closed between Culture Dr and Northbound Pan American Frontage Rd. Detours for this closure will direct traffic to Comanche Rd through Carlisle Blvd and Jefferson St on the east side of I-25, as well as Culture Dr and Edith Blvd on the west side.

Drivers are advised to expect heavy travel delays during these times, plan ahead, and follow posted signage overnight.
