FOIA Request to University of New Mexico regarding employee compensation data for Fiscal Year 2025 on December 2, 2025.

Enchantment State News has submitted a formal request under the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act to the University of New Mexico. The request seeks comprehensive records detailing employee compensation for all individuals employed by the university during Fiscal Year 2025. The information is requested in an electronic format to facilitate analysis and reporting.

The specific data fields requested include employee name, gender (if recorded), age or year of birth (if not exempt), date of birth (if not exempt or limited to month/year), employer name, title or position, hire date, compensation amount (including base pay and any additional pay), compensation type (such as salary, hourly, stipend, bonus), and employment type (full-time or part-time).

As members of the media committed to transparency and accountability in public institutions, Enchantment State News has requested a fee waiver for this information. The organization is affiliated with The Coalition Opposing Governmental Secrecy, a non-profit that aids media companies and advocacy groups in obtaining governmental records through Freedom of Information and Sunshine Laws.
