FOIA Request to Taos County NM Clerk & Election Division Regarding Upcoming Election Candidates on February 5, 2025.

Enchantment State News, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, has sent a formal request under the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, 14-2-1 NMSA 1978 et seq., to the Taos County NM Clerk & Election Division.

The request was made for a list of all candidates running in the upcoming election. The information sought includes the first, middle, and last names of each candidate; the office they are running for; jurisdiction of the office; party affiliation of the candidate; and all contact information for each candidate including address, phone number, and email address.
