On February 5, 2025, we at Enchantment State News submitted a request under the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, 14-2-1 NMSA 1978 et seq., to the Guadalupe County NM Clerk & Election Division. The request sought comprehensive information about all candidates running in the upcoming election.

Specifically, we asked for a list of all candidates’ first, middle and last names. We also requested details about the office they are running for and its jurisdiction. Additionally, we sought information about each candidate’s party affiliation.

To facilitate direct communication with these candidates for further inquiries and interviews, we also requested their contact information. This includes their address, phone number, and email address.
