The Conference USA office released the television schedule and kickoff times for the 2026 football season on May 27. New Mexico State’s schedule includes five night games and five nationally televised contests, with two home midweek matchups.

Entering their third season under Head Coach Tony Sanchez, the Aggies will begin the year on the road at Florida State. Their home opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 5, against Mercyhurst at 7 p.m. Mountain Time, streaming on ESPN+.

Following a non-conference game at Hawaii, New Mexico State returns to Las Cruces on Friday, Sept. 26, to face in-state rival New Mexico in a nationally televised game on CBS Sports Network at 1:30 p.m. The Aggies will host Western Kentucky University on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m., also airing on CBS Sports Network.

The team will then play two conference games featured on ESPN2: traveling to Florida International University on Wednesday, Oct. 7 (5:30 p.m.), and facing Sam Houston State away on Wednesday, Oct. 21 (6 p.m.). They return home to play Jacksonville State at Aggie Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 28 (7 p.m., ESPN2). Homecoming is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, against Liberty with a kickoff time of 3 p.m., broadcast via ESPN+.

The final stretch of the regular season includes three games covered by ESPN Platforms; specific media coverage details will be announced twelve days prior to each game day. The Aggies travel to Missouri State (Nov. 14) for a game starting at 1 p.m., host Delaware (Nov. 21) with a similar start time in Las Cruces, and close out the regular season against Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro (Nov. 28) with a noon kickoff.

Only New Mexico State’s non-conference road games at Florida State (Aug. 29) and Hawaii (Sept. 12) remain without finalized kickoff times or broadcast designations.
