Warren Chewiwi from Bosque Farms pleaded guilty on Apr. 14 to unlawfully possessing a firearm due to past convictions for felonies and domestic violence misdemeanors. He faces up to fifteen years in prison if convicted at sentencing.
Albuquerque officials have started construction on a new community garden in Santa Barbara Martineztown. The project aims to increase access to fresh food while strengthening local ties. Leaders highlighted partnerships between city departments and schools at a recent groundbreaking ceremony.
